Terms and Conditions
Tip Top Dog Training Terms and Conditions
By making a booking to attend any classes run by Tip Top Dog Training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully accept the terms and conditions as detailed below. Puppy School classes have specific terms and conditions. You will be prompted to read and agree to these when you sign up for Puppy School classes, before payment is made.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking and paying for your class confirms your attendance.
All of my classes are non-refundable unless I can find someone to take your place. In extenuating circumstances a refund may be considered but any refunds are strictly at the discretion of Tip Top Dog Training.
A transfer/deferral of your place to another class or course may be possible, but this is at the discretion of Tip Top Dog Training and is dependent on the availability of another suitable class or course.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they attend on the correct date, time and place.
There will be no partial refunds for missed classes.
Tip Top Dog Training reserves the right to decline a booking even if payment has been made. A refund will be provided in this instance. However, if you knowingly enrol an unwell or aggressive dog onto a course, there will be no refund.
Health and Safety of Your Dog
Please do not bring your dog to class if they are unwell in any way, particularly if they are coughing, vomiting or have diarrhoea. Dogs must not attend a class within one week of having a Kennel Cough vaccination. All vaccinations and parasite control must be up to date.
Please bring your dog to class wearing a suitable collar and harness and a fixed length lead. I do not allow the use of prong collars, choke chains, slip leads or flexi leads in my classes.
The use of force, including shouting and rough handling, is not permitted.
Please keep your dog on a lead at all times unless a specific exercise requires them not to be.
All dogs must be kept away from other dogs within the training premises unless otherwise instructed by Tip Top Dog Training.
Hygiene is essential around dog waste. Please help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those who use the venue by picking up after your dog.
Suitability of Your Dog to Join Classes
Dogs that are aggressive towards people or other dogs should not attend classes as it is not a suitable environment for them. I will be happy to recommend a behaviour consultation instead.
Occasionally a class environment does not suit a puppy, dog or owner. Full discussion over the best way to proceed will be undertaken and this may result in alternative arrangements to assist and support you.
Children
Children must be under the close supervision of a responsible adult at all times who must agree to prevent them from disturbing the process of learning during the class.
Tip Top Dog Training reserves the right to ask that children do not attend classes.
Children must not bring small toys, small items of any description or food to class due to the risk of ingestion by their own dog or other dogs attending the classes.
Children must not approach the other puppies or dogs attending the class.
